At the bottom of this page, you’ll find drop-down menus that let you quickly search by Animal, Class, or State. For more detailed searches, used the faceted search features located on the left side of the page under Applied Filters. Here you will find options to limit your search to find the right horses whether via private treaty or auction.
Faceted searches allow you to narrow the focus of your search based on Class, Breed, Color, Discipline, Registered, Price, State, Height, Foal Date, Registry Name, Fertility, Transaction Type, and Head Count. There is no limit to how many criteria filters you can use at once, so choose the combination that most closely represents the type of horses you want to buy.
When performing a search for a specific type of horse, go to the Applied Filters section on the left side of the page. From here you can select any combination of desired traits or categories. Click Class and you can narrow your results to bred mare, broodmare, colt, filly, foal, foal in utero, gelding, mare, stallion, stud service, or weanling.
You can also search for specific breeds. You’ll find popular breeds such as Appaloosa, Paint, and Quarter Horse, along with many others. Horses can be sorted by color, as well. Among the colors you’ll find are bay, black, dun, grey, palomino, roan, and more. Select one or a combination of breeds and/or colors.
Searches may be modified by range for price, height, foal date, and head count. To find horses for private treaty sale or auction within a desired range, simply expand any of those categories under Applied Filters, enter the minimum and maximum, and click the Search button.
