Meet this two-year-old gelding named Gus. Four white socks and a blaze face make him stand out in a crowd. Add to that his palomino color, and you will be the one mounted on the horse everyone’s looking at. Gus has 40 days of professional training and is ready to come to your barn to begin his new life in any discipline you choose. He’s cutting bred and has a performance mindset, but he hasn't been started on cattle. His good looks and willing spirit make him a barn favorite. He is approximately 14.3 presently with an expected finished height of 15 hands. Gus is easy to catch, stands quiet for saddling, and is good at the farrier. He was trained on the J Bar S ranch near Puryear, TN. He will climb/descend hills, cross creeks, and deadfalls. Thick brush and logs don’t stop him. He will walk, trot, lope, back up, and stop like a pro. He is gentle but not recommended for a beginner. He has never bucked during his training. More training is available after purchase for an additional fee. I have videos of him on trail and will share with interested persons. He’s worth a look and is waiting for you to come try him out.
