Oscar - Its A Southern Thing x Enchanted Irons
Description
Hez So Southern aka: “Oscar”
- 15.3H, 2015' sorrel AQHA gelding
“Oscar” is another mature, well-broke gelding who offers a whole lot of horse without stepping into an astronomical price bracket! Oscar is an 11-year-old, 15.3H gelding who is extremely well trained, tolerant, kind, SMOOTH - and also a gorgeous, fancy mover. He has three lovely gaits and plenty of training and education, yet remains uncomplicated and enjoyable to ride for just about any style or level of rider. This guy was a show horse when he was younger - and has been super happy turned out at our place while he is offered for sale and just pulled up occasionally for lessons or trail rides. Super good with time off - his behavious and consistency even not being in training today, certainly reflects that he had an excellent foundation. Oscar is the kind of horse that can be enjoyed in several directions. He rides English or Western, is very good in traffic and has the training and movement to go enjoy lessons, clinics, local shows, or simply riding around the ranch and trails. He would be a great entry level ranch rider, ranch versatilty, or youth 4H horse. He is mature enough to have plenty of life experience left, being only 11 years old with lots of years ahead to enjoy. At only $9,500, Oscar represents a tremendous amount of training, experience, and quality breeding for the money. Finding a fancy, educated, PRIME-AGE gelding in this price bracket is increasingly difficult - there is a whole lot of value here. Please give us a call with any questions or to schedule to come meet Oscar in person!Specifications
