Sully

15.1 hh

Sully — 7-year-old Belgian/Quarter Horse cross gelding standing 15.1 hh. Stout, handsome, and comfortable to ride, Sully has recently completed five months of training with Carley Wade. He has a very nice walk, trot, and canter, is soft in the bridle, responds to your legs and seat, neck reins, and has a big stop. There is plenty of training here to put to work! Sully has the build and versatility to go several directions. He could make a fancy fox hunting prospect, a stout partner for ranch work and roping, or a comfortable trail mount with plenty of substance underneath you. He travels willingly on the trails, crosses water, and is good around vehicles. Sully has no buck or rear, but he can occasionally be watchful of things along the way. With a little encouragement, he is willing to go on and tackle what you ask. He is best suited for an intermediate rider or better who can give him consistent miles and a job. The foundation is in place, and I believe regular work and experience will help him become an even more dependable partner. Sully is a well-trained gelding with plenty to offer someone ready to put him to use!
