PARDY — Coming 3-Year-Old Quarter Horse Gelding — 14.2 HH Sometimes the best young horses are the ones that simply want to get along, and Pardy has been that kind from day one. When I bought these colts, they had never had a hand on them. We got Pardy gelded and sent him to a trainer friend of mine, where he received a good, solid start and somewhere around 30–40 rides. What came back was one of the gentlest, most willing young geldings you could ask to work with. Pardy is easy to catch, stands to be saddled, and you can step on and go about your day. He will ride around the arena or head down the trail with the same quiet, willing attitude. Through his entire start, this colt simply hasn’t had a bad day. What I like most about Pardy is his mind. He is curious without being silly, willing to learn, and genuinely wants to get along with you. Most importantly, he is gentle. At his young age, he already has the foundation and attitude that give someone a lot to work with. Whether you want to continue him toward ranch work, trails, the arena, or develop him into a nice all-around horse, Pardy has his whole life ahead of him. He may only be 14.2 hands, but there is a lot of horse packed into this young gelding. A good-minded young horse with a proper start, a gentle disposition, and a very bright future.
