GM Bellysma — 2009 Purebred Arabian Mare — 14.2 hh
There is just something neat about a good Arabian, and Bell is a beautiful example of the breed. We took this mare in on trade after she had spent a number of years mostly laid off simply because her previous owner had gotten away from riding. We saddled her up, stepped on, and she went right back to work like she had never missed a day.
Bell has three lovely gaits, a great stop, and she is an absolutely beautiful mover. She carries herself with the style, presence, and athleticism you expect from a nice Arabian while still being pleasant and enjoyable to ride.
On the ground she is friendly, easy to catch, and gets along well with the other horses. For a mare that has had several years away from regular riding, we have been very impressed with how naturally she has stepped right back into the program.
Registered, purebred, pretty, and a whole lot of fun to ride. Nothing quite like a cool Arabian, and Bell certainly reminds you why people love the breed!
