Holton Red Angus Bulls Are Producing Giant, Stout Calves in the South
This is an outstanding Beefmaster × Red Angus offering:
74 mature cows with a tremendous set of big calves
46 two-year-old, coming three-year-old heifer pairs
43 bred heifers
These females are sired by Holton and Sandridge Red Angus bulls and out of Beefmaster cows. The bulls were left out for only 45 days, giving the entire group a tight calving window. They should begin calving around January 1 and finish a couple of weeks into February.
Our plan is to wean the calves and palpate the cows next week. The replacement-quality heifer calves out of these ladies will also be available for sale. They are a beautiful set of heifers that should mature into one crazy-good group of productive cows.
