Our solid-mouth cows look a little different these days, and there’s a reason for that. We’ve gotten extremely strict on mouthing our cattle. These solid-mouth cows will generally range from around 6–9 years old, and truthfully, some of the cows we call broke-mouth would probably still be called solid-mouth at other places. We’d rather be conservative and tell you exactly what we believe you’re buying. These are good looking, solid mouth cows, bred 5–7 months, with good eyes, good bags, good feet, and plenty of life left in them. Every cow we advertise has a licensed veterinarian lay hands on her right here on our property. The veterinarian comes to our place, personally checks these cattle, verifies the mouths and palpations, and confirms the pregnancy information. These aren’t cattle we’re advertising off somebody else’s word or just a sale-barn check. We’re having them checked again here before we put them in front of our customers.
