Description
50 head of Red Angus (purebred) December and January calving bred heifers. These heifers have One Iron them sired by RA Brown Ranch and Feddes Red Angus bulls. All managed and bred at the same ranch.
These females are older, more mature females that are going to calve at 26 to 27 mths and are weighing 1000-1050 in excellent condition. Running on native and Bermuda grass getting caked a couple times a week. Genetically superior out of some of the best Red Angus Genetics. They are bred for maternal, carcass, and growth. Their calves will excel in many programs and top the grid.
They are bred to Top 10% CED and calving ease bulls from Beckton Red Angus in Wyoming and 5L Red Angus in Montana. Bulls all have a +15 to +19 CED and -3.4 to -5.0 BW EPD or greater. These females are cake broke and have good dispositions.
Pregged and ultrasound 8-3-26. They will start calving December 1st thru January 31st, 80% bred by ultrasound in the first 40 days to calve by January 10th.
Vaccinated prior to breeding. 2 rounds Bovashield5, 2 rounds of 7-way Blackleg Bovashield Gold FP 10, dewormed with Ivamec. No bad eyes and cattle all very healthy.
