Here’s a good set of 14 Brangus and a few crossbred pairs with big, stout calves averaging around 400 lbs.
These cows have been exposed to Charolais and Angus bulls. I currently have two Braunvieh bulls in there with them, but the cows are not bred to the Braunvieh bulls.
I really like the upside of putting Braunvieh bulls on this type of cow. Those steer calves ought to be absolute wagons—big, stout, heavy calves with plenty of performance. And on the female side, I think that cross could make some phenomenal replacement females.
