Here’s a nice little group of 11 pairs located in Wharton, Texas.
These cows are big, stout girls, probably weighing 1,200–1,250 lbs. They’ve got a big set of calves beside them that should average around 450 lbs. Good, stout calves with plenty of shape and growth to them.
These cows have been exposed back to Charolais and Angus bulls. I’ve also got 2 polled Braunvieh bulls running with them now. If you’ve never tried a Braunvieh bull, give one a shot. I promise you, they’ll put some stout calves on the ground, and those females ought to make tremendous cows.
I’ve also got 4 or 5 more pairs in the pasture that I can put with this group and make somebody a nice 15 or 16-pair deal.
