Description
The chukar partridge originates from Eurasia but has also been successfully naturalized within the US. Smaller than a pheasant and larger than a quail, these birds are popular both for their quick flushing ability and their meat quality. Our chukar are known for their size, strength, and flight performance. Through careful nutrition, attentive management, and a commitment to bird health, we consistently produce birds that are larger than average while maintaining the strong flying ability hunters and guides expect.
These birds are a favorite among hunting guides and preserves because they flush well, fly hard, and provide an exciting hunting experience in the field. Weights range from 1.1 to 1.5lbs
