American Aberdeen Commercial Cow Herd – Grass-Based Genetics
**For Sale – Complete Herd or Individual Groups**
I'm offering my American Aberdeen (Not registered) commercial herd for sale as I transition my operation toward larger-framed cattle to better fit my beef market. These have been productive, easy-keeping cows that have done an excellent job raising calves on grass and have not missed a single calving.
Mature Cows
* 2 cows are approximately 7 years old (Weigh 800-900lb)
* 1 cow is approximately 3 years old (Weighs around 700lb)
* Each cow has produced a healthy calf every year
* Good mothers with good udders and strong maternal instincts
* Moderate-frame cattle that are efficient on grass and easy to handle
Yearlings
* 2 yearling heifers
* 1 yearling steer
Calves
* 3 bull calf
Additional Information
* Cows are currently open.
* They can be bred prior to sale if a buyer prefers.
* This is a nice opportunity for someone looking to start or expand a moderate-frame, grass-based cow herd.
* These cattle have been selected for fertility, mothering ability, and efficiency rather than maximum size.
* Total of 9 animals
I would prefer to sell the entire herd together but will consider selling smaller groups or individual animals to the right buyer.
