Description
13yr old 1D/2D gelding quarter horse for sale/lease in Washington State. No rush to sell until end of summer. He’s not registered (AHQHR) yet but is able to, and his papers are outstanding (sun frost, doc bar, lightning bar, three bars, driftwood, laughing boy, etc.) He needs an advanced rider who will work with him consistently, he’s great around other horses and people. He’s proven 1D on smaller barrel patterns (consistent 14s) and i plan to do more standard this summer. Poles he is consistently 1D/2D low 20s. He can get herd bound if other horses are still in sight. he usually is good in the gate but can sometimes get worked up. I’m selling him because i’m headed off to college this fall and i’d feel to guilty to keep him in a pasture. Im extremely sad to see him go and have debated staying back for rodeo college but it’s just simply not my passion and it can be quite expensive. I know he has a great deal of potential and has already done amazing in all gaming events (barrels and a strong specialty in poles, etc.) In the summers, he does trails and has a past with flags, drill, and sorting. I will be picky with whoever buys him, expect dental, general vaccines, chiropractor, and whatever else necessary to compete him hard. If he does not have proper care and consistent riding he will go lame. do not buy him if you plan to let him sit for weeks then compete.
