    Description
124 Proven Ranch Cows – Productive, Gentle & Built to Last If you’re looking for a set of honest, low-maintenance ranch cows that know how to make a living, here’s one you’ll want to see. This offering consists of 124 head of Brangus, Beefmaster, and Braford-cross cows located near Lubbock, Texas. The entire herd was veterinarian palpated and mouthed on June 2 and is running with Duff Ranch Red and Black Angus bulls. The calves already on the ground are proving this cross works extremely well, and the heifer calves should make outstanding replacement females. These cows are in excellent body condition, averaging around 1,250 pounds. They’re gentle, easy to handle, and the kind that will stay productive for years. They weaned a big set of calves in May and have gone right back to work raising another calf crop. There are around 40 calves already on the ground, with approximately 15 older spring calves weighing an estimated 350–450 pounds. The balance are younger calves, and the cows are in excellent flesh, running back with Duff Ranch Red and Black Angus bulls and cycling back well. While we can’t guarantee every pair will be a true 3-in-1, this herd offers plenty of opportunity as the breeding season progresses. The entire herd has been on a complete herd health program and was worked on June 2. Don’t let the West Texas location keep you from buying these cows. We can usually arrange very competitive backhaul trucking rates to the Southeast. Many trucks haul cattle from Florida, Georgia, Alabama, and Mississippi into the Texas Panhandle and feedyards, then return home empty. We work with those carriers to secure those return loads, helping buyers save substantially on freight.
