DC HOWDY PERKS, AKA Ned, is a 6 year old, 15.2hh AQHA gelding. Ned was born and raised outside and has been ridden extensively out in rough country herding and gathering cattle. He has also been packed on and led pack strings. Ned has good feet and bone, a good mind, and his very sound- he has never been lame. Ned has never bucked and is not cold backed. He is good to shoe, good to load in a stock trailer, easy to worm, vaccinate, catch out in a big pasture, bathe and blanket. Ned is super sure footed and really comfortable traveling out in the big country. He crosses creeks, bogs, logs, climbs and goes down steep terrain like it is second nature. Ned is started on the barrel & pole pattern and has been used to sort cattle- he will watch a cow. Ned is a nice mix of run and cow with Sun Frost on his papers. He is a very kind horse with lots of looks! He is a quiet horse with a big motor.
