When we leased Playboy from Berry Box alpacas in the summer of 2025, we had very high expectations for his offspring on our farm. We carefully chose some of our best females, mostly light fawns, to pair with him in the hopes of producing more of that color, with fantastic fleece. In the mix, we decided to add Connemara (Conne) who is one of our very BEST production females, and a Madiba daughter. This was one of the best decisions we have made!!
When Clare was born, we were surprised that she was bright white, BUT we could not be happier with the result. She is a robust, ball of energy! Never needed any help..nursing regularly on her own from about 15 min old, and growing in leaps and bounds. We all get excited when our crias have wrinkled skin, with high expectations for their density and fleece development. Clare has THE MOST WRINKLES we have ever felt. Her neck skin does not lay flat due to the massive wrinkles; she has them all across her body and even down past the "drip line" into her stomach area. OH MY!!!
Clare is absolutely LOADED with fleece, locked to the skin and perfect little twisty ringlets everywhere. Luster is amazing and her fleece is slick to the touch. ICONIC??? FOR SURE!!Specifications
