Description
Beach, North Dakota – 60 Black Angus and Black Baldy Heifer Calves at 550 lbs, shipping October 20, 2026.
This is a very attractive offering of Angus heifer calves coming from a program focused on quality, consistency, and performance. These heifers represent the top sort from approximately 90 head after additional females were retained, giving buyers access to the front end of a high-quality calf crop. Built around proven Angus genetics and a disciplined breeding program, these heifers offer the kind of quality and uniformity that are becoming increasingly difficult to find.
The cow herd is 100% Angus and consists of medium to large framed females weighing 1,400 to 1,500 lbs. Breeding decisions are centered on producing cattle with muscle, performance, and carcass merit while maintaining the consistency commercial cattlemen demand. Sires are sourced from Vermilion Angus and Vollmer Angus, two highly respected programs known for producing cattle that excel in growth, structural soundness, and quality grade performance.
These heifers are predominantly Black Angus with a small percentage of Black Baldy influence. They carry a quality rating of 9 out of 10 and come from a program that places a strong emphasis on uniformity of kind and genetics. While there is some natural variation within the offering, buyers should expect a quality set of heifers selected from larger numbers and sorted from the top end of the replacement pool.
Raised on native dryland pasture, these heifers are carrying medium flesh and are in good healthy condition. They are practical, growth-oriented cattle that should perform well in a variety of programs. With genetics focused on carcass quality and grid performance, they offer strong feeding value and the potential to add pounds efficiently after delivery.
Calves have received a calfhood and pre-weaning vaccination program and have not been implanted. They have been developed in a straightforward commercial environment and are ready to continue performing for their next owner.
Cattle will be gathered early in the morning, sorted by sex, hauled approximately 25 miles to Beach, North Dakota, and weighed straight on the ground. This is a quality set of Angus heifers from a program committed to producing uniform, high-performing cattle year after year.
