THE GOOD STUFF:
Here’s a fancy set of Super Black Baldy bred heifers that are hard to find.
These females are out of F1 Braford cows and sired by Brangus bulls, creating what many cattlemen call a Super Black Baldy. This is a cross I have always liked. You get the longevity, fertility, and hardiness of the F1 Braford cow combined with the maternal strength and performance of Brangus genetics.
They have good leather, clean navels, plenty of body depth, and the kind of look that turns heads when you drive through the pasture.
Who doesn’t love a black white-faced cow?
These girls are bred to low birth weight Angus bulls, giving you every opportunity to raise a valuable set of calves. The steers should be highly marketable, and the heifers should make outstanding replacement females.
One has already calved, and the balance are carrying calves and are 5–7 months bred.
If you’re looking for a set of females that can stay in the herd for years and raise a quality calf every season, these girls deserve a look.
Only 9 head in the offering.
