“Slim” – 7-year-old sorrel gelding. AQHA (Appendix) registration. 15.2 hands. Up to date on vaccinations. He’s gentle and takes a saddle and bit without fuss. He reins very well and is quite agile. He can work cattle in brush and open country. He will lift all four feet and stand for the farrier. He will trot alongside an ATV, which is VERY handy on the ranch. He has a decent, though not perfect, ground-tie. He loads easily into a trailer. Slim is very food oriented. Easy to catch with a bucket of grain and always looking for a quick nosh. He’s really a nice horse to be around.
He is a little spooky - no bucking at all, but he shies away from strange objects. He’s young and just needs miles put on him to get over it and I do not have the time for that right now. He’ll make a great ranch horse once he settles down a bit.
