Backstory first: FIR Olabonita’s Sire: Snowmass Best in Velvet is a gorgeous Velvet Touche son and 5X champion/2X Judge’s Choice winner. His extremely pre-potent sire Snowmass Velvet Touche has garnered many of the top awards including multiple Futurity Championships, Herdsire of the Year and Get of Sire awards. His dam Snowmass Best in Lace is also a Futurity Champion, sired by Snowmass Best Man. Best in Velvet has a superb pedigree that includes many of the top lines in the Snowmass Herd. Consequently, Best in Velvet is just as pre-potent as his sire, producing over 20 champion offspring winning over 60 championships in white, fawn and brown, Wow!
FIR Olabonita’s Dam: Majestic’s Maya is equally impressive, also multi-champion taking 4 championships over her show career. Her EPDs are in the top 5% in 5/6 categories as a fawn! No wonder Olabonita is so amazing! Ola also gets her jaw dropping looks from her dam, strikingly beautiful head and frame with a very lovely fleece. Her fleece is very fine, bright, soft and highly organized as evidenced by her 2025 histogram depicted here. It is why Ola is doing so well in the show ring, already stacking up championships along with lots of side glances!
