WOW! What a beautiful, big cria for Joy and Lazaro (Studly)!! J-man just shines in the sun, and the dark, and the fog... he is really something!
Lazaro has given us some really wonderful crias and J-Man is one of 2 born on our farm this year. Beautiful phenotype, correct conformation, LUSTER, lovely lock structure and his daddy's sweet personality!
*JAN 2026 UPDATE*
Jairus has really blown us away as he has matured! He has the absolute best fleece we have produced on our farm to date! His fleece is elite with gorgeous, independent locks and layers and layers of "book pages." His lock style is flat, but with incredible waves within each lock and the handle is amazing. Jairus has blinding luster, amazing denstiy, and a cool, greasy, slick feel to his fleece. Additionally, he sports a lovely suri head, and correct body proportions. He is a compact male, taking after his sire, Lazaro, and has inherited his sire's calm personality as well.
Leaving our suris in full fleece in our area of the country, with high summer humidity, is kind of a gamble due to the stress this adds on the animals. Unfortunately, Jairus developed a fleece break, so we won't be able to show this amazing male at the spring shows.
BUT, he will be shorn and we do plan to get him out to the shows in the fall. We have no doubt that he will still be competitive as a shorn male, and we plan to have his beautiful fleece on display at the spring shows, to share his unbelievable beauty with you all!
