Man of Steele was born just 2 short weeks after his momma, Maya, arrived at Honey Maple Farms. What a surprise for us!! He is a SOLID male with tons of wrinkled skin and well-locked fleece! He is a very independent boy, and he was off and running with the other crias not long after he was born. We brought Dark Maya into our breeding program for a couple of reasons. First, she is a true black, and second, she is a Huckleberry's Blue Ginger daughter...and we absolutely love those genetics! Roy continues to produce lovely offspring with density and solid body frames. "Little" Steele is more of the same. I call him "Bruiser," because he is so much bigger than the other crias his age and he LOVES to wrestle with his best buddy, Eli 2.0. We are very happy with Steele's development. His fleece is very well locked with great luster and amazing density. Unfortunately, he suffered a fleece break in fall 2025, so he won't be shown in spring 2026. We will shear him and hope his regrowth is just as lovely for the fall shows. We are looking forward to Steele joining our herdsire ranks soon!
