Ruby is a well grown female that catches the eye of all that see her with her very fine and lustrous red locks covering an excellent conformed body. We are very pleased with this female whose genetics are rock solid!
Ruby is out of Rum Raisin, a beautiful red/brown female whose dam was Cream Bruleè's; Her pedigree is a Who's Who of some of the top Accoyo genetics such as Accoyo Jackpot, Accoyo Esse, and Pperuvian Ramilio, blended with the style and color of "the Headmaster" Mahogany Prince, BBFAI Azalea, Supreme Champion Kobe of PVA and Diamonte of PVA. Her dense, well-locked fleece can be attributed to both sides of her parentage. Her Grandsiire, Balboa racked up 16 Halter Championships-- 13 Color Championships and 3 Reserve Championships. And his fleece won a few awards too. At the MAPACA 2008 Fleece competition, Balboa’s fleece was awarded a First Place and Best Suri Locks. Then at the 2008 AOBA National Fleece Show, Balboa was awarded First Place and Reserve Color Championship. His fleece also received a Special Award at Nationals for Best Suri Locks.
Ruby is full sister to the last Accoyo Kaden offspring, RUM TRUFFLES--a stunning red/brown female.
We bred Ruby to Black Bijou, a Belefonte son, thinking we might get a black offspring, but she produced the beautiful red/brown of Ruby. RUBICON is gorgeous high luster male that did very well at show.
Ruby's 2022 (RUBIO) true black offspring by Jamayo, and 2023 (RUM RUNNER) another red brown by Black Bijou are pretty darned nice too!
Her 2024 Female, Rum Delight, has excellent luster!

We will be looking to pair Ruby with one of OUR herd sires in the next few weeks. She should do well with Cinch or Decker, OR we may just try her with Lazaro to pull out some of the light genetics in her pedigree!! Stay tuned!!

ANDDDDD...we have decided to go for the light genetics of Lazaro!! We have not utilized him nearly enough on our farm and we are pairing him with several females for 2026. Ruby has always been bred to a dark herd-sire, so we are looking forward to what we will get with this pairing!!Specifications
