This little female was shining from the moment she was on the ground! She wasn't even dry yet and I could already tell she was going to be very lustrous. American Shine is a lovely girl out Domenica and Revie. Domenica, our Crown Prince daughter, has beautiful, dense and lustrous fleece, so she gets it naturally! Sire, Pival Son's Revelation, is producing crias with very nice density and all around awesome fleece! This combination seems to have been a pretty good one so far. We look forward to watching our little Shine---shine!!
*AUGUST 2021 UPDATE*
WOW! WOW! WOW! American Shine continues to impress! She is developing lovely draping locks with incredible 'wet' luster! We are so excited to see how she continues to change each month...we'll be keeping a close eye on this beauty!!!
**January 2022**
American Shine continues to develop her beautiful fleece! Check out her updated pictures from 1/9/22. She has tons of "greasy", cool and lustrous fleece at 7 months old. We think she is a keeper!!
**November 2022**
Well, it was definitely her "shine" that put her at the top of her class at the Buckeye Fall Fest Nov 4-6, 2022! Judge Helen Testa appreciated her fleece regrowth , lock style and ESPECIALLY her luster as she was awarded a blue ribbon. We are so proud of our beautiful Shiny Girl!
**March 2023**
Shine had a fantastic show season in 2023!! It is too bad that there was not more competition for her, though. However, at the Eastern Alpaca Jamboree, several judges remarked that Shine had the best fleece they had seen in that particular show. What great comments!! She has fleece that absolutely shines and has good locking from skin to tip, while maintaining good consistency of traits across the fleece.
**April 2025**
Shine is ready for her first big date this year....and the lucky boy is PLAYBOY!! This pairing will bring together so many fantastic fleece traits and I am SUPER EXCITED about this "criation!"
