Isn't she wonderful? We think so too! Isolde is a friendly and soft tempered cria with a solid DB blanket. She friendly to our farm visitors and is the center of attention. Her pattern is inherited from her Dam Summer Rose who is of the Diamonte of PVA line.
LHSA Isolde's sire is GLR Moab. Moab is one of our top true black breeding males. His fiber biopsy at 2.5 years of age revealed a Density 40.75, S/P 8.2, Sec 21.4, Pri 30.1. His calculated AFD is 22.35. Moab's histogram at 2 years provided gave us a glimpse of his possibilities. His MFD was 20.4, DS 4.7, and a staple length of 260mm. LHSA Isolde's Dam is DXLND Summer Rose by Diamonte. We enjoy having a few pattern fleeced alpaca on our farm. Summer Rose's skin biopsy at 4 years of age indicated Density 40.5, S/P 9.1, Sec 23.3, Pri 30.7. Her AFD is 24.11. Summer Rose's histogram at 4 years of age MFD 27.3m, SD 7.2, fibers > 30 19.9%, with a staple length of 132.4mm. We found these good stats from a 4 year old BB.
