This handsome 16-year-old sorrel gelding stands 15.3 hands and is the kind that’s easy to have in the barn. He’s extremely gentle and kind from the moment you catch him in the pasture, through grooming and tacking. He has clearly been handled and trained with care. Under saddle, he has three nice, comfortable gaits and is a willing partner. We’ve ridden him outside and he goes where he’s pointed without fuss. He carries himself nicely and is a very pleasant ride. Where he really shines is as a driving horse. As you can see in his video, he’s a lovely pleasure driver and would be an absolute blast to take out on carriage trails, country roads, or for leisurely drives. He’s a cool-looking horse with talent and presence wherever he goes. Honest note about papers: He did have papers at one time. I was given photos/copies of them by the lady I purchased him from, and it may be possible to recover them, but at this time I only have the copies. The paperwork is mainly helpful to confirm his breed and age. I want to be completely upfront about that. That said, the most important part of this horse is not the paper — it’s how well he’s trained, how gentle he is, and how enjoyable he is to ride and drive.
